Rüya Meric President
I work as a pediatric resident in Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa since 2017. I graduated from Trakya University Medical Faculty in 2015 and from Robert College in 2009. I used to be an EMSA (European Medical Students’ Association) and TurkMSIC (Turkish Medical Students International Committee) member during my medical faculty education and organized the first Teddy Bear Project in Edirne. I did two internships, one in Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem and the other in Semmelweis University, Budapest. I play piano and cello and I have a one-yearold daughter. I am also studying child development.

Roy Gavin Stone Vice President
I am a Specialist Registrar on the General Paediatrics Higher Specialist Training Scheme with The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. I completed my undergraduate medical education in University College Cork in 2013 and Basic Specialist Training in Paediatrics in 2016. I have postgraduate degrees in Medical Education from the National University of Ireland Galway and in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. I plan to pursue a career in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine.

Marija Slobodanac Secretary
She is a final year paediatric resident at Health Centre Đakovo. She graduated at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek in 2012. In January 2015, she commenced her training as a primary care paediatrician at the Health Centre Đakovo. From 2015 to 2017 she was engaged in training as a resident in paediatric at University Hospital Centre Osijek, and from 2017 until 2018 at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb.
From January to May 2016, she volunteered as a physician at the Winter Refugee Centre Slavonski Brod, where she worked for the humanitarian organisation MAGNA Children at Risk. Since October 2016, she has been member of the Resident Section of the Croatian Paediatric Society, representing all the paediatric residents in primary care in the country.
In April 2018, she become a member of YEAP (Young European Academy of Paediatrics). She is the Young EAP representative within the UEMS Multidisciplinary joint Committee for Adolescent Medicine and Health.

Enrica Manca Treasurer
I am a resident in pediatrics at University of Foggia, Italy.
I graduated from Medicine and Surgery, University of Pavia in 2013. My thesis was on “Clinical heterogeneity of aortic arch anomalies in pediatric age”. I did an ERASMUS program at University Paris Descartes in 2010. I speak Italian, English and French. I am a member of the Executive Board of the Italian Observatory of Residents on Pediatrics (ONSP) since 2018. My hobbies are playing flute and piano.

Joao Santos Hikari Asistant Secretary
I'm a 1st year Pediatrics resident in the Príncipe de Asturias University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. Obtained my medical degree in 2019 from the Autonomous University of Madrid. I'm devoted to teaching, and have worked as a teacher both in private and NGO settings. Currently delving into research opportunities. Participated locally in several IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students Association) events, as well as several volunteerships with Refugee NGO's such as Medical Volunteers International and FAST (First Aid Support Team). I love cooking new recipes, reading science fiction and playing with my dog

Anca-Lavinia Postolache Asistant Treasurer
I graduated in 2018 from “Grigore T. Popa” University in Iasi, Romania and I am currently working at Saint Mary Emergency Children Hospital Iasi as a paediatrics resident. During my 5th year of faculty, I studied in France at the University of Paris-Sud and later I had an internship of 6 months as a paediatrics resident at CHI Poissy/St-Germain. As a student I coordinated the Medical Education Department (SCOME) within the Medical Students' Society Iasi. Languages spoken: Romanian, English, French and I am a beginner in Spanish and Italian. Interested especially in paediatric haematology and oncology. In love with progressive rock, poetry and cooking.

Maria Palyvou Asistant Secretary
I am currently finishing my second year as a Paediatrics Trainee at University Hospital of Patras. I studied at the Medical School of the University of Patras and I graduated in 2016. I have a postgraduate degree at Paediatric Infectious Diseases, from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2021). I plan to become a Paediatric Infectious Diseases specialist.
